I love movies. And since I have had the spare time, I tried to catch up with movies I have read about or heard about. Some old, classics, and some new, but mostly old because those are the ones I have seen less of. I put an [x] next to the ones I have watched and it turns out there are a lot of movies I have to watch. I'm kidding, I'm not interested in all the movies on this list. In average I have watched a fifth of the 300 titles on this list and will probably try to watch a third more.

I'm not sure I agree so much with these newer titles. In my opinion, a few were only better than good.

Overall Citizen Kane seemed to be voted the best film ever made. Given that I haven't yet seen it, I can't give my opinion. But I have definitely put it on top of my "to watch list".
